Items page
On the Items page you can view details for all the items on your survey. Here you will find useful information about each item, such as the sequence number, item text, dimension, and descriptive statistics.
Work Units page
The Work Units page allows you to view all the information about each unit in your hierarchy.
Demographics page
The Demographics page allows you to view all the information for each demographic that you are permissioned to see.
Configuring Your View Using Selectors
The top of each page contains several selectors (i.e., dropdown menus) that enable you to configure the data you will see in the table.
1: Select Rows to Display
The Select Rows to Display selector has different uses depending on the page:
Items Page
On the Items page, you can view items nested within their dimensions (default), just dimensions, or just items.
Work Units Page
On the Work Units page, you can view the nested hierarchy (default) or a sortable work unit list.
Demographics Page
On the Demographics page, you have the option to choose demographic groups to be displayed as rows within the response categories.
2: Focus
The Focus selector allows you to indicate if you’d like to view dimensions or items on the Work Units and Demographics pages. This selector is not available on the Items page because you can view both dimensions and items at the same time on that page.
3: Select View
The Select View selector determines which columns appear in the table across all three pages.
Default View
The Default View displays the following:
Selected work unit(s) mean score.
Overall Organization’s mean score.
Comparison to the Overall Organization.
Group’s response distribution.
Number of responses.
Comparisons to your most recent historical survey and your primary benchmark.
History Comparison View
The History Comparison View displays the two most recent historical surveys for which you are permissioned to see data. You’ll be able to see the score for the item in each historical survey, as well as the difference between your group’s score and the historical average. There is a column that indicates statistical significance.
Please note, if there are unmapped work units that exist in the historical survey, but not in the current survey, the data from these unmapped units will roll up to the total score. This may cause your top hierarchy node and total scores to differ slightly - the unmapped units are not present in the score for the top hierarchy node, only the total score.
The historical comparison on the Summary page references the total score.
Benchmark Comparison View
The Benchmark Comparison View displays up to three of the benchmarks (also known as norms) that are available for your survey. You’ll be able to see the score for the item in each benchmark, as well as the difference between your group’s score and the benchmark average. There is a column that indicates percentile rank.
Percentile View
The Percentile View lets you see the mean score and percentile rank for each item on the survey. You can also see the score necessary to be in the 10th, 25th, 50th, 75th, and 90th percentile.
Multi Select Summary
The Multi Select Summary view enables multiple dimensions or items to be viewed at the same time on the Work Units and Demographics pages. Multi-select functionality is built into all the Views on the Items page.
Comparison View (Lifecycle Only)
Comparison View enables you to analyze differences in dimension and item scores across Lifecycle survey types. The Lifecycle survey type you select in the filter panel is the point of comparison on which this view is based.
4: Select Dimensions or Items
The Select Dimensions or Items selector enables to you to select one or more dimensions or items in the table. The default for the Items page is all dimensions and items. The default for the Work Units and Demographics pages is the primary dimension.
5: More Options
If the views available in the selectors do not provide you with the information you would like to see, you can select the More Options button and add additional columns to the table.
More Options is divided into three types of data:
Current results: Select the measures would like to include related to your current survey.
History: Surveys from the past two years will be available. Select the survey(s) and the measures would like to include related to these historical surveys.
-
Benchmarks: All available benchmarks will display. Select the benchmark(s) and the measures would like to include related to these benchmarks.
